High on the ridge of Romeleåsen – just 20 minutes from Lund, 30 from Malmö and about an hour from Copenhagen – you’ll find The Lodge, a spa and restaurant hotel set deep in the Scanian countryside. If you haven’t been to see us before, there’s plenty to look forward to: a Hawaiian-inspired spa, a 38-degree infinity pool with steaming warm water and views for miles, and a restaurant where the food reflects the place and the season. This summer we’re a little oasis to escape to for a day spa in Skåne – close to the city, yet miles from the everyday.
Come on out and let yourselves slow down. Stay for a couple of hours – or combine several experiences and make a real day of it in Skåne. Perhaps a tropical day spa followed by dinner with a view in the evening sun on the veranda? This summer we’re offering our popular day spa package Honulele Retreat at a special price – SEK 795 (regularly SEK 995) for four hours of the very best of Honulele Spa, and one of the loveliest ways to enjoy a day spa in Skåne.
The first two hours are entirely your own. Sink into the outdoor infinity pool with the treetops and the Scanian fields below you, move between the warmth of the sauna and a dip in the cold plunge, and take a break at the Honulele Spa Café, where you can buy Hawaiian poké bowls, smoothies and warm toasties. Then settle in front of the fire in the spa lounge, with the panorama in front of you.
Then our guided Aloha Spa Ritual takes over – seven steps through the tropical islands of Hawaii. It begins with a sea-salt foot bath and continues through a body scrub, aromatic steam, the warm lagoon in torchlight, a two-part aufguss in the cedar-wood sauna and a soft finish in the air-therapy room Makani Kai. At every step you use the season’s products from COSMOS-certified L:A Bruket. Afterward you land in the relaxation area with soft resting beds, tea and views as far as the eye can see.

Want a little longer in Honulele Spa, without the ritual? Our Honulele Day Spa gives you four hours of pure stillness – the warm water of the infinity pool with its sweeping view, and the back-and-forth between sauna and cold plunge. One of the simplest ways to enjoy a day spa in Skåne. The price includes loan of bathrobe, slippers and towel plus entry to Honulele Gym. Want the guided Aloha Spa Ritual as well? The best thing about staying the night? You never have to leave. While the day guests start thinking about the drive home, you still have the whole evening, the night and the morning ahead of you – high on Romeleåsen, in the middle of the Scanian countryside.
The Treetop Escape is our overnight package for two who want to truly unwind. Picture hours in the spa without watching the clock, a multi-course dinner in Restaurant Heaven as the sun sinks behind the fields, and a night in one of our cozy double rooms where the only sound is the wind in the trees. You wake up rested and get to take the morning slowly before everyday life has to wait a little longer.
It’s our little summer dream of a spa weekend – close enough for a spur-of-the-moment getaway, far enough away to truly land.

Summer evenings taste their best with a view
A balmy evening on the veranda. Something cold in your glass. The rolling fields below. Here dinner becomes a four-course menu that reflects the place – cooked with care and seasonal ingredients.
Our kitchen team at Heaven has put together this summer’s menu around the best Swedish ingredients. The vegetables come, among other places, from Bondekocken’s fields in Genarp, a stone’s throw away; other things we’ve foraged and preserved through the year. Everything is made from scratch.
The menu is served every evening through 16 August – as a standalone dinner or as part of an overnight package. Welcome to a Dinner Less Ordinary.

Summer Lunch at The Veranda

Long summer lunches under the parasols on the veranda, where the view, the atmosphere and the feeling around the table take up as much space as the food. You start with the soup of the day and continue with a main course – choose between three favorites. Alongside we serve our own sourdough bread, hand-whipped butter, still water and coffee or tea. Finish off with the Dessert of the Day for SEK 85. Here conversations are allowed to linger, glasses stay a little longer and the afternoon comes and goes at its own pace. Welcome to a Summer Lunch Less Ordinary!

Start the day with our popular breakfast buffet – freshly made waffles, creamy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, home-baked sourdough bread, spreads, cheeses and cured meats from local producers in Skåne, and freshly brewed coffee. Enjoy it in peace with the view for company, before a long walk on Romeleåsen or setting off east toward Österlen.

Honulele Gym
Open every day 07–22
Forget everything you know about gyms. Honulele Gym is something else.
Here you train in soft lighting and candlelight, with an atmosphere that feels more like our Spa than a traditional fitness center. Calm. Pared-back. A little unexpected.
The gym is included in all our packages – whether you’re with us for a day, a night or a conference. But you don’t have to stay here to train. You can also buy gym entry on its own, perfect to combine with a run on the Skåneleden trail and something good at the Honulele Spa Café afterward.

Things to Do in Skåne from The Lodge
The Lodge sits midway between Copenhagen and Österlen – as close to a capital city’s buzz as it is to Österlen’s chalk-white beaches. And the rest of Skåne is right around the corner: hike the Skåneleden trail straight from the door, ride a railbike, play golf, or take a cooling dip in an old quarry.
